The secret of khadi Natural Hair Color comes from the oldest form of natural healing – Ayurveda. Valuable Indian medicinal plants are raised by small cooperatives with lots of love and are harvested at the peak of their potency.

khadi Natural Hair Color dyes your hair with the power of finely ground plant-based powder. The natural color pigments it contains bind to the hair cuticle and adhere to the surface of the hair shaft – creating a nourishing color glaze that protects and revitalizes.
All hair colors by khadi are 100% natural, vegan, and free from synthetic dyes, fragrances, and preservatives.
Indigofera tinctoria leaf powder (Indigo), Lawsonia inermis leaf powder (Henna), Emblica officinalis fruit powder (Amla), Eclipta albaleaf powder (Bhringaraj), Azadirachta indica leafpowder (Neem)
The ritual of applying khadi Natural Hair Color is a century-old, Ayurvedic practice to naturally color and strengthen hair.
The finely ground plant powder is mixed with tempered water to a naturally creamy paste. This potent color cream is then applied to freshly washed hair. After allowing the hair dye to soak in, the color cream is washed out with water only. The color result is immediately visible, but intensifies over the next 24 to 48 hours.

Hair feels soft and shiny after use
I stopped using chemical color about a year and a half ago and switched to Khadi products upon the recommendation of a friend. I was starting to get an allergic reaction to the chemical dye, and while I really wanted to avoid that, I also wasn't ready to go gray. I've used several of the darker brown hues, but the Dark Brown looks the most natural in my hair. I color my gray roots every 4 to 6 weeks, and once in a while, I'll pull the color through all of my hair to freshen things up. It does a good job covering my grays, but I find it fades a bit over time. I'm going to try what Khadi suggests, and start next time with Color Prep and then use the Dark Brown on top. It's a longer process for sure, but I think it will allow me to color less often. Overall, though, I'm really pleased, and I'm thrilled to be done with harsh, chemical dyes.
This product gives a rich, beautiful, natural brown color. If I have time, I leave it on for 30 - 60 minutes longer than is required and the color tends to stick better to my stubborn grays.
