The ritual of applying khadi Natural Hair Color is a century-old, Ayurvedic practice to naturally color and strengthen hair.
The finely ground plant powder is mixed with tempered water to a naturally creamy paste. This potent color cream is then applied to freshly washed hair. After allowing the hair dye to soak in, the color cream is washed out with water only. The color result is immediately visible, but intensifies over the next 24 to 48 hours.

Color Care Ayurvedic Hair Oil:
Apply khadi Hair Oil Color Care 24 hours after dyeing with khadi Natural Hair Color - before your first hair wash.
Simply put 2-3 pump strokes of khadi Color Care into your hand. Spread the oil in the palms of your hands and distribute them on dry hair. Concentrate on the dyed area as well as on the lengths and ends of the hair.
Alternatively, you can apply the oil with the khadi hair care brush - the natural bristles will distribute the oil evenly into your hair and scalp.
Now wrap your hair with a towel to keep it warm. Give the oil at least 30 to 60 minutes to soak in before washing your hair with a khadi shampoo.
For a more intense effect, it is best to leave it on overnight.
Apply the natural hair care twice a week. You can also use the hair oil as a leave-in in small doses.

United StatesI got the copper color. I love the way it makes my hair look and feel. I have microlocs and I’ve been using chemical dyes but wanted to try a natural hair dye. I found this brand online and decided to try it. I used it a couple days ago and I could see a difference already. The color came out really nice although I wanted a little lighter but I can live with the color I got. It makes my hair feel so soft. The color care oil made the color pop a little more and my locs are nice and shiny. I don’t have to use anything else on my hair but water in the morning. Definitely will buy again. I also plan on getting the strong Amla oil as well.

United StatesThe ash brown is a TRUE level 4 ash without a hint of red, just what I was hoping for and absolutely beautiful. When mixed, the paste is much smoother and creamier than other brands of henna I've tried, and I personally like the smell - especially compared to the horrible smell of chemical dyes! The only tricky part was the application - it was difficult to spread evenly to make sure all strands were coated, but that's true of all hennas. To avoid the mistake I made (trying to spread it around haphazardly with my hands), I highly recommend sectioning your hair. I already purchased more dye to even out my mistakes, and I'm excited to try this method. Overall, I'm really impressed with the results!

United StatesI use it with the color prep, keep color prep for 2 hr, and keep the color paste for about 2.5 hr. I followed the exact suggested temp on the instruction (temperature adjustable pour over kettle came in super handy). However I use 127g water to 50g powder, found that it is a more applicable paste texture. It’s been 2 weeks after I colored my hair, I’m happy with how the color hold up and the color turn out on my grey hair, and gave my black hair a tint of brownish highlight. (My hair type is Asian black hair, with some grey) I applied the color care 1 hr before I wash the hair and so far I think Khadi hair color fade slower than other henna indigo I had use. Overall I’m really happy with the result, how the color looks and how my hair feels afterward.

United StatesThis is by far the best Henna based dye I’ve used! I highly recommend it. I used the ash brown and so satisfied with the results. However, I’m definitely going to use the the colour prep next time for deeper root colour as I’ve almost totally grey hair in roots and even though it dyed my roots but if I see them very closely, the roots are slightly lighter then the rest of the hair. Which Khadi highly recommended to use before actual dye. Overall, I would definitely continue using it, it leaves such a pretty smell and makes your hair shiny. Loved the oil as well!

Although a little bit of grays werent fully covered, my hair felt healthy and shiny in comparison to the at home hair coloring you get at your local pharmacy. Next time I will use a brush to help focus on the gray areas so I have hope it will cover better. I definitely will be using this product again. United StatesColor seems long lasting and overall seems to improve hair strength. It’s a bit light for covering my few grey strands. It looks a bit more like light brown against my dark brown hair which is a bit frustrating. I will continue to use though as it gives enough of a color to make me comfortable with the few greys showing through. Not sure how it would work for a full head of greys though. Overall, satisfied but would like it to be dark brown, not light brown. I used with color prep.
