Each product features a uniquely formulated elixir, based on mankind’s oldest medicine – Ayurveda. These Ayurvedic recipes are made from Indian medicinal herbs, barks and flowers giving each product in our range its unique characteristics and powerful effects.

To bring each recipe to life, the Indian medicinal herbs are lovingly cooked according to millennia-old traditions. The result is a powerful elixir that touches your soul while nurturing your hair and body.

No, they do not have the elixir. Our 100% plant based Natural Hair Colors are made with Ayurvedic herbs, roots and leaves that are naturally high in color intensity. They are formulated so that each component complements each other and creates vibrant hair colors.

The process of selecting and combining the right ingredients for each product, is the same process we use for selecting plants in our khadi elixirs. It allows the Ayurvedic plants to unite and form a whole that is exceptional in its strength and effectiveness.

Although our hair colors don’t contain the khadi elixir, they are made with the same Ayurvedic recipes in mind, infusing them with natural strength and power of premium plants.

The Ayurvedic plants we use to create our natural hair colors are grown by small farm cooperatives in the regions where they originate. In order to achieve the most vibrant color results, the plants are harvested once at the peak of the season.

The plants are then carefully sorted by hand to remove stems and branches – making sure that the final powder only contains the parts with the highest color potency. They are then dried under the powerful Indian sun and ground into a very fine powder.

The plant-based color pigments of khadi Natural Hair Color bind to the hair cuticles and adhere to the outside of the hair shaft - coloring your hair permanently. Because of this naturally long-lasting quality of our plant pigments, you can enjoy your khadi color result permanently.

No, khadi Natural Hair Color doesn’t strip your hair of its natural pigment. Instead our colors add a thin layer of plant-based pigment. 

These color pigments bind to the hair cuticles and adhere to the outside of the hair shaft – creating a nourishing glaze that protects and revitalizes. Each time you dye your hair with khadi color, you add another layer of our nourishing color pigments onto your hair – deepening & intensifying the hair color.

That’s the reason why khadi Natural Hair Color does not lighten your initial hair color.

Our blonde shades are suitable for white or light hair. Use on already colored hair for more shine and nutrients.

Detox Your Hair

khadi Natural Hair Color dyes your hair naturally by adding a fine layer of natural color pigments onto your hair. In some cases you may need to prepare your hair to achieve a solid color deposit and color depth. khadi Color Prep colors your hair in a beautiful warm blonde base color – preparing it for further coloring with your preferred khadi shade.

Use as the first step if you want to go from very light, white or grey hair to a darker hair color. It is also great if you have bleached, dry, or porous hair.

Of course! Wait two or more weeks after the last hair coloring to allow your hair to rest and ensure the best color result.

Everybody's hair is different, so to be on the safe side, we recommend that you don’t chemically lighten or bleach your hair after coloring it with khadi Natural Hair Color.

Do you want to dye your already bleached hair a darker shade and use khadi Natural Hair Color?

You can absolutely do so with khadi. khadi Natural Hair Color adds a nourishing glaze of color pigment to your hair - making it shiny & healthy. Make sure to check out the khadi color chart to get more information on coloring bleached hair naturally.

Find Your Perfect Color

Our Natural Hair Colors are made of 100% pure plants from Ayurvedic herbs, roots and leaves. They have amazing coloring properties and are well tolerated by our customers.

However, please carry out an allergy test 48 hours before your first application. Simply place some mixed color into the crook of your arm and let it sit there for 20 minutes. Repeat this test after 24 hours. If there is no reaction, you can immediately start with the application of your khadi Natural Hair Color.

Of course! You can get a perm before and after coloring your hair with khadi Natural Hair Color. 

If you already have a perm, make sure to dye a strand of hair first and test the color outcome. If your hair strand is the desired color then color your whole head of hair.

If you want to get a perm after you dyed your hair naturally with khadi Natural Hair Color, you might need to extend the exposure time of the perm by a few minutes.

Estimated Standard Shipping Time

We currently ship to the 50 states, Puerto Rico and Canada. You may experience longer delivery times when shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and Canada.

Our standard shipping to the US is free when you spend $29 or more. We offer a flat fee for regular shipping of $9.50 on orders $28 or less.

For orders to Canada, we offer a flat rate regular shipping fee of $19, excluding import duties and provincial taxes.

As soon as you order we start processing. Processing can take up to 1-2 business days. You’ll receive a shipping notification email with a tracking number and link to the carrier as soon as your package is being shipped.

You can check the location and status of your package anytime by clicking on the link in your notification email.

We’re sorry about that! If your tracking number isn’t working, please wait another 1-2 business days. Sometimes it takes the carrier 1-2 days to register your shipment status and update your tracking information. If your tracking number isn’t updating or working at all, please reach out to us via hello@khadibeauty.com.

You can always edit your shipping address in your personal khadi account. Simply navigate to “My Account” and add a new address or change your current one.

Once you placed an order, you cannot change the shipping address anymore. If your order is shipping to the wrong address, please reach out to us via hello@khadibeauty.com.

Except for any products designated on the Site as non-returnable, we will accept a return of the products for a refund of your purchase price. All returns must be processed within 30 (thirty) days of receiving your order.

Please note, that all products you return have to be in their original condition. This means that you can return the unused portion of your order.
