In the past, some Natural Hair Colors included synthetic additives that could react with chemical dyes. However, these additives have been banned by the EU for years. Today’s high-quality natural hair colors carry organic certification, ensuring safe and natural ingredients.
By following a few simple guidelines, you can confidently use both natural and chemical color treatments without issues. If you’ve used a shade containing indigo, avoid chemical lightening, as it may cause discoloration. The exceptions are khadi Sun Blonde, Pure Henna, and Henna, Amla, Jatropha, which can be safely lightened.
If you want to chemically color your hair in the same shade or darker after using natural hair color, just wait for about 10 washes before your next treatment—no special precautions needed.
