The finely ground plant powder is mixed with tempered water to a naturally creamy paste. This potent color cream is then applied to freshly washed hair. After allowing the hair dye to soak in, the color cream is washed out with water only. The color result is immediately visible, but intensifies over the next 24 to 48 hours.

United StatesThis dye has worked well for me to dye my greys when I use the Color Prep beforehand. I leave Color Prep in for 120 min, then leave in this dye overnight. It does a good job covering my greys - they don't dye a black color, but it's a tone that blends in nicely with my natural hair color. It's also made my hair stronger and healthier. I moved to this product after suffering hair loss due to stress. I use the entire Khadi line now - shampoo, conditioner, color prep, dye, and hair oil.

I met a gal that had fabulous hair and she told me about this product. Of course I was skeptical- but after a lot of thought I bought the detox and did that one day the the day after I used the color prep and used the dark brown. I loved how it made that corse hair go away!! I love this product & actually found out I can mix the colors to achieve to the color I want!!! I bought the black and the the hazel brown for my second time coloring!!! I used the dark brown first and had a green tint and contacted the company and found out that I can use the black and the hazel brown to achieve what I want! So a few days later the green tone disappeared !!! I get compliments on it and can't wait to re-color with the black added to the dark brown. Thank you for this wonderful hair coloring system.
