◄How To UseThe ritual of applying khadi Natural Hair Color is a century-old, Ayurvedic practice to naturally color and strengthen hair.
The finely ground plant powder is mixed with tempered water to a naturally creamy paste. This potent color cream is then applied to freshly washed hair. After allowing the hair dye to soak in, the color cream is washed out with water only. The color result is immediately visible, but intensifies over the next 24 to 48 hours.

United StatesI was a bit hesitant using this for the first time, but I am very pleased with the results. I have thin shoulder length hair, so I decided to use only half of the package for a root touch up and to pull it through with my fingers to blend the color. I am really pleased with the gray coverage. I could have only used one-fourth of the package, as I ended up throwing away a considerable amount of product, but hey, I know better for next time. I got a medium blonde, and it was a bit darker than I am used to. I will probably try getting the golden blonde next time and mixing it with the medium to see what color it produces. My hair texture did feel really, really dry after washing out the color, as (per the package instructions) I did not immediately use a conditioner (which I always do when I color). After I blow dried my hair, the texture didn't feel quite so bad. Overall I am very pleased with this product and will purchase again. I also bought the Vitality Grow oil, but it is too early to say if that is working well. It's nice to have a chemical free option that works well!!

If you want to lighten the color a bit next time you color, try adding 1-2 tablespoons of our Light Blonde shade into your mixture, it will help lighten the shade.
