◄How To UseThe ritual of applying khadi Natural Hair Color is a century-old, Ayurvedic practice to naturally color and strengthen hair.
The finely ground plant powder is mixed with tempered water to a naturally creamy paste. This potent color cream is then applied to freshly washed hair. After allowing the hair dye to soak in, the color cream is washed out with water only. The color result is immediately visible, but intensifies over the next 24 to 48 hours.

United StatesI like this natural hair dye! You feel like a chemist mixing it up with the exact the hot water temperature and it's a funky swamp green mixture. I like the color a lot. I started with a white blonde base and I'm really glad I got the color prep. Has to sit on your hair for an hour but i didn't mind. Read a book and did the dishes in that time.

The application process was fairly simple. The only thing that I would say is that the shipping was somewhat confusing, as I was informed that I had received it when, in fact, I hadn't. When I did get it I was happy with the results.

United StatesI am 62 yrs old. I haven’t used any type of coloring in my hair for decades, enjoying the changing colors as I’ve gotten older. But the accumulating white strands around my face were aging me. I had been resistant to dying my hair as I didn’t want to look fake; I wanted something subtle, natural, and—natural looking. The Light Blonde did EXACTLY what I was hoping for—I am thrilled! It camouflaged my white strands and has blended perfectly with the ash brown. It looks so natural my husband didn’t even notice (and he’s always stroking my long hair)! I’m a dishwater blonde/light ash brown and I did have a hard time deciding between the Light or Dark Blonde (I didn’t want any red tints, as the Medium implied). I kept it on for an hour and a half, and yes, it did have a slight greenish tint after my hair dried, but nothing bizarre (and it does smell like alfalfa!). It went away after the next washing. I am truly delighted with this product and so happy I “took the plunge.” My ONLY criticism is that I wish the text in the perfect instructions had larger print. Even with my glasses, it’s too small. Perhaps in your next printing you could enlarge and bold the print. Thank you, Khadi! I love your products! (Actually, it was your Rosemary and Henna Herbal hair oil that I fell in love with some time ago, that apparently is no longer available.)

United StatesI love this product. I was hesitant to color my hair after growing out my low and high lighted ash brown hair, with more and more white around my face. I decided to try the semi permanent first, and liked the effect, so moved onto the Light Blonde. It has transformed the whites to a light blonde and given a nice shimmer to the browns. Overall, it looks very natural, as my hairs natural variations come through. And my hair is shiny and healthy. I love being able to do it myself and it’s easy.
