Why aren’t all Hair Color Shades vegan?

Most of our products are completely free of animal ingredients or by-products, made with the finest herbs, high-quality oils, and plant extracts.

However, two of our Hair Color Shades – Dark Blond and Medium Blond – include Gall Apple (Quercus Infectoria Majuphal) in their formulas. This ensures the unique depth and vibrancy of these shades.

The Gall Apple is a woody growth on the leaves of the Gall Oak. Its formation relies on the natural process of gall wasp larvae saliva, similar to the way honey is produced. Once the larvae leave, the Gall Apple is harvested and used in natural medicine.

As always, we ensure that each batch is rigorously tested for microbiology, heavy metals, and pesticides, meeting the highest quality standards.
